Christina Rhys was a Foundation Scholar at the Royal College of Music, studying under the renowned Spanish harpist, Marisa Robles, and has since appeared as a soloist throughout the country, in Germany and in the USA.
She has premiered the solo works of a number of eminent British composers and is the only player to have recorded Elliot Carter's solo piece Bariolage for Radio 3.
She has worked with many of the country's leading symphony and chamber orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and CBSO, has played for the RSC at Stratford, and has toured with the Northern Sinfonia Ensemble and Debussy Trio performing all the major chamber music repertoire.
Christina plays a gold Horngacher harp and was a founder member of Sonor Contemporary Music Ensemble in the USA, and is a member of the Gemini Ensemble and Arpège.
